For over 20 years Megan Barry has been a recognised, and respected public sector leader with a passion for making impactful change and a difference to the people around her.  

Megan is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, member of the QUT Graduate Business School QUTeX Advisory Board and former Chair of the Queensland Public Service Strategic Workforce Council. 

As deputy commissioner of Queensland’s Public Service Commission for the past four years, Megan has played a key role in the COVID-19 workforce response for the state’s largest workforce. She is currently leading her team to deliver once-in-a-generation public sector reform, with a new public sector act and a body of work focused on rejuvenating the capability and capacity of the Queensland public sector.
