Join us for our upcoming Secretary Series with Adam Fennessy PSM, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

With over 25 years of public sector experience at state and federal levels, Adam’s former roles have included secretary of the Victorian Department of Environment and Primary Industries, secretary of the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning, Victorian Public Sector Commissioner and dean & CEO of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG).

What will I learn?

Coming up to 12 months in the role, Adam will share DAFF’s priorities, its vision born from an APSC capability review, and the transformation project taking place across the department. DAFF is a nationally distributed agency with a broad range of functions and policy issues. Adam will explore how the department works to embrace the future of flexible work while maintaining its strategic and responsive approach. Adam himself lives in Queensland and sees flexible work as vital to harnessing voices and skills from across the nation.

Who is this for?

This event is for those interested in the future of flexible work, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s priorities, and insights and leadership lessons from a leading APS secretary.

After the discussion, join us for a networking session and connect with other public sector professionals.
