The IPAA ACT Future Leaders program is a unique opportunity for emerging leaders working in or with the public sector with aspirations of progressing to management roles.
Designed in partnership with Deloitte, the program offers exceptional leadership skill development and networking for emerging and future leaders. Over six immersive sessions, participants can tap into new networks, build skills, access advice, and be inspired so they can thrive in the ever-transforming public sector.

The Future Leaders program will be run multiple times in 2024 with both in-person and virtual delivery.
Cohort 1 will be offered in person in Canberra and cohort 2 will be delivered digitally via Microsoft Teams. Cohort 3 will be offered at a four-day, in-person intensive.
The Future Leaders program is open to IPAA ACT corporate members only. Check if your organisation is a member here.
Applicants should be at APS6 to EL1 level, or equivalent levels for private sector or academia. The program is not suitable for those currently undertaking a graduate program.

The Future Leaders Program is for emerging and future leaders who are passionate, established and engaged in the public sector, with aspirations of progressing to management roles. We are running three cohorts in 2024. Each cohort offers a series of six unique, immersive sessions that will build and amplify participants’ leadership skills and help them thrive in an ever-transforming public sector. Three optional lunchtime learning webinars will be offered during the program. Participants will also be invited to take part in two digital post-program reflection workshop.
