A fragmented government. One big challenge the public service must respond to.

Join us in October at the Australian War Memorial, as our IPAA ACT hypothetical returns with a panel of eminent public sector leaders who’ll navigate a 2030 Australia marked by extreme political fragmentation and a minority government that is hardly able to act. Guided by respected journalist and former host of Q&A, Tony Jones, our speakers will discuss what this means for a public service that now needs to respond to frequent changes in the direction of government, prepare more policy proposals that might satisfy all parties, and estimate costs of compromises and failed policies.

Stay tuned for the challenge our panellists will explore, and draw lessons for the future of the public service’s workforce decisions, policies and programs, and service delivery.

More panellists to be announced soon.

Early bird tickets are available until 13 September or until the contingent is exhausted.
