EA Series: Present yourself with confidence
As an executive assistant, presenting yourself with confidence is key to success in your current, but also future roles.
This event will dive into the ins and outs of presenting yourself as an exceptional EA – starting with communicating with confidence and finishing with how to create a digital presence, including a professional headshot.
Hear from Kathy Hilyard, co-founder of the Centre for Collective Leadership, about how you can refine the way you communicate and influence – whether that’s with your colleagues or your executive, when you’re presenting, or interviewing for a new role. Then, join photographer Alexandra Orme to learn about headshots that represent who you are, with confidence and authenticity.
After the main event, network with your peers over snacks and beverages.
Upon registration, you will enter a potluck for a chance to win a professional headshot valued at $99 , taken by Alexandra Orme.
More speakers TBC.
Who is this for?
EAs in the APS, ACT public service and other Australian public services, and private sector EAs who want to:
- understand how to communicate with influence – with colleagues and their executive
- know how to present their professional brand visually.
If you work for the federal or ACT public service, or in the broader public-for-purpose sector, you’re most likely already a member of IPAA ACT. Check our membership list if you’re not sure.
