Talent Management at the Australian Public Service Commission
David Hall is Director of Talent Management at the Australian Public Service Commission. He is responsible for supporting the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries Talent Councils to ensure the APS has a strong leadership pipeline for the future. In that role he has been lucky enough to work with, and learn from, many fantastic senior EAs, EOs and Chiefs of Staff.
David has been with the APS Academy since 2017. Prior to that he held a number of HR roles in the Department of Health focussed on leadership development, talent management and workforce planning.
David is a recovering economist. Outside of work he enjoys watching sport, working on his family’s farm, cooking, gardening and spending time with his partner and their very overindulged Golden Retriever named Gus.
