Annabel joined Carers Australia in March 2024.
She is an insightful and strategic leader with over a decade of Not-for-Profit executive experience in the healthcare sector. Her previous experience includes senior leadership roles with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and the Australian Medical Association.
Annabel is a member of the National Carer Strategy Advisory Committee, the Inspector General Aged Care Advisory Committee, and the Disability Representatives Carer Organisation forum, where she advocates for the recognition and value of carers’ needs and contributions.
Annabel is known for her ability to develop purpose-led teams with a cultural vision of clarity, collaboration, and the courage to move at speed.
She is passionate about supporting people who help others. Annabel has living experience as a carer and understands the challenges of juggling work, family and caring responsibilities.
Annabel is keen to be an impactful voice for Australia’s 3 million unpaid carers.
