Tristan Hoffmeister

Tristan is currently the Director of Access and Leaning at the National Portrait Gallery and is a passionate Canberran, audience advocate and leadership enthusiast. With Post Graduate qualifications in Cultural Heritage Management from the University of Canberra, Tristan has worked across the cultural sector and APS for over 20 years including roles at ACT Parkes and Conservation, the National Museum of Australia, Australian Parliament House, Questacon the National Science and Technology Centre and in Corporate Services for the Department of Industry where he led the COVID-19 Response Taskforce. Tristan’s APS leadership journey has focused on the impact of everyday actions and how we all play a part in building public value and can deliver results that make a difference and results that sustain our futures.
