Jocelyn is a public servant with over 23 years’ experience spanning policy, programs, and administration. She has led teams in a variety of areas in the public service, including industry policy, climate change, and international relations and diplomacy. She has also served as a ministerial advisor for Federal Ministers, a role that provided valuable insights and experience in working with Ministers.

She is passionate about helping other public servants be the best they can be. She feels a great sense of pride and accomplishment in supporting development, providing opportunities, ensuring they have the right tools, and fostering an environment where people can take risks and fail fast in a safe and supportive environment.

Jocelyn is currently the Executive Officer to the Head of Division of Business Grants Hubs in the Federal Department of Industry, Science and Resources, providing strategic advice and assisting the Head and their senior executive in the day-to-day management of the division.

She holds an Executive Master of Public Administration and an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese. She is currently the Deputy Chair for the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) Alumni Advisory Council. In her spare time, she is learning the cello and is a bonsai enthusiast.
