IPAA ACT executive assistant network
The work of EAs and other executive support staff is critical to the effective management of the Australian public sector. Their work in managing the offices of senior executives, ministers and sector leaders is a critical coordination and enabling function across the sector.
IPAA ACT’s EA network recognises the valuable and unique role played by these professionals in our sector. In practice, the network supports members through opportunities for:
- capability uplift,
- peer learning,
- cross-agency knowledge sharing, and
- exposure to experienced speakers and real-world case discussions
via our EA Series, which includes 4 annual events.
The EA Series is a great opportunity for EAs across the public and private sector to come together and share experiences and ideas, and build on capability and networks.
Our current IPAA ACT executive assistant network champions are:
- Alyssa Broomby | Department of Home Affairs
- Paulette Billings-Brown | Australian Centre for Disease Control
- Liz Butler | Department of Health, Disability, and Aging
- Jazcinta Kinnish | Department of Defence
