Trish is a senior executive with extensive background across the public and private sectors, with a particular focus on gender equality, leadership, public sector reform and organisational development. She has a varied portfolio of consulting, facilitation and coaching roles as well as a number of pro-bono board and advisory positions.

Until late 2021, Trish was Co-Director, Governance, at the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation at the University of Canberra.  The Foundation’s aim is to ensure that women share equally in leadership across the public sector in Australia and in our region.  Prior to this, Trish has held Senior Executive Band 2 positions with the Australian Public Service, finishing her APS career in 2019 after leading the Office for Women in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet for 2 years.  She has also worked at the Senior Executive Service (SES) within other Commonwealth portfolios over her career, including in the Finance, Education and Employment portfolios.  While in Department of Finance, Trish was Regional Manager, Americas, leading the Commonwealth’s Finance function at Australia’s embassy in Washington DC. In the private sector, Trish has held the role of General Manager and Regional Director level positions with SMS Management & Technology and Hudson Global Resources in Canberra.

Trish has recently completed a term as board member with the ACT chapter of the Institute of Public Administration of Australia (IPAA) and is an Adjunct Fellow within the School of Professional Studies at UNSW Canberra Faculty. In addition, Trish is an Adjunct Professor with University of Canberra, in the Faculty of Business, Government and Law. She is Chair of the Advisory Council for the Women’s Pathways to Politics program, a joint venture between University of Canberra and the University of Melbourne. Trish has recently completed her 3-year term as pro-bono Chair of the Women’s Legal Centre, ACT and Regions and contributed to strengthening the Centre’s financial position and the establishment of a strong strategic direction, risk and governance framework.
