Kylie Crane has over 28 years’ experience as a career public servant, leading centralised and dispersed teams in service delivery, policy development, program and project management, and implementation.

Kylie commenced her career with the Department of Defence, before joining former iterations of Services Australia and more recently the Department of Education, Skills and Employment. Career highlights include leading the first ‘whole of sector’ examination of the workforce providing aged, disability and veteran services in Australia, and the 2020 Review of the Disability Standards for Education, which was conducted in partnership with disability advocates and government departments during COVID-19.

Kylie is a passionate advocate of what a joined-up public service offers and was elected to the Institute for Public Administration Australia ACT Council in 2021.

Kylie was recently awarded a Public Service Medal for her contributions to the Disability Taskforce and to the Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package during the COVID-19 pandemic.
