Webinar: Positive duty: Preventing harassment, discrimination, and psychosocial hazards
Are you looking for ways to support your staff’s mental wellbeing?
Since 2022, the so-called ‘positive duty’ has required employers to proactively prevent sexual harassment and sex discrimination. This includes managing how people behave in the workplace, but also supporting those who have to review distressing material or work with challenging customers. These public servants rely on their workplaces to support them and ensure they can safely do their work – even under difficult circumstances.
This webinar highlights how you can take proactive steps to prevent sexual harassment, sex‑based harassment, discrimination, hostile workplace environments and psychosocial hazards. We’ll go over key legislative frameworks, explain how regulators enforce compliance, and outline practical approaches for responding to complaints and creating safe, respectful workplaces.
On top of this, we’ll explore examples of where it’s done well, with practical advice for team leaders who want to ensure their staff feel safe and supported, particularly in difficult roles.
Special thanks to our tier two partner, Holding Redlich, for partnering with IPAA ACT on this webinar.
