On 15 September, Auditor-General Grant Hehir spoke at our Secretary Series event, where he delved into the Australian public sector transparency and accountability framework. He highlighted the role of the Australian National Audit Office in ensuring the effectiveness of the framework to achieving transparency, accountability, and improved public administration. Dr Rachel Bacon, deputy secretary of the APS Reform Office, hosted the event and facilitated the conversation.
