Delivery
This course is delivered over two full days using Microsoft Teams.
What you will learn
You will leave this course with the skills to manage unconscious bias and provide effective feedback to promote improvement. You will learn how to handle difficult performance conversations and how to lead and respond with empathy.
You will finish this course knowing you can:
- understand the neuroscience behind giving and receiving feedback
- use models to position feedback to promote improvement
- manage different levels of performance, including difficult conversations, to promote positive momentum within the work environment
- plan, gather information, and effectively and constructively summarise employee performance
- create effective development plans with staff that support their goals, potential, and career aspirations
- lead an enabling conversation to support growth and development
- use tools to help shape an effective development plan.
