Future Leaders Program
We are running three Future Leaders programs across 2026, with a mix of digital and in-person sessions! Marking 10 highly successful years of IPAA ACT’s most sought-after offering, we’ve significantly refreshed our program for 2026.

IPAA ACT supports public sector practitioners to forge a rewarding career, not just training for a single job. We focus on the long-term career of public sector leaders across your many roles, departments and projects.
Our Future Leaders Program equips you with key skills, insights and networks, setting you up for success not just for today but for more senior roles in the future.
The program is a significant investment and commitment to your leadership development, with over 35 contact hours. One cohort in 2026 will be delivered fully online, while the other two cohorts feature the main program sessions in person over 4 days in Canberra and the remaining sessions online.
Each cohort contains seven unique, immersive sessions building your leadership skills and helping you thrive in an ever-transforming public sector. Four kickstarter webinars are offered before the main program, with leading speakers on key topics. You can also take part in two digital post-program reflection workshops, deepening your learning further.
