About Us

IPAA-ACT-AboutUSThe Public Sector plays a vital role in the daily lives of all Australians. Now, one organisation is playing a leading role in the activities of the public sector. Through a range of far reaching and innovative programs, the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) is enhancing the work and influence of the sector throughout the country.

IPAA is a professional non-political organisation with divisions in all Australian states and territories. IPAA is coordinated by a National Council. In the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), the Institute serves as an important source of information and opinion on issues of government policy, innovation and reform. 

The ACT Division is managed by a Council of elected members and an Executive Director. The council is elected by postal ballot and announced at the Annual General Meeting help prior to 30 September in each year.

IPAA-ACT-MembersMembership of the ACT Division of IPAA is open to those who have a continuing interest or involvement in public administration and management.
